I adored this story. The whole piece was infused with a sense of quiet and desperation, and the descriptions (the thin skin of Dom's chest, everything wrapped in cling film) were perfect.

I love Billy outside, consciously breaking his mold, catching Dom by the ankle and falling down together.

Oh, this was dreamy and sweet. Just perfect.

"It's Glasgow, you just got indoor plumbing last month, so -"
I love how you have them joke and tease each other. That part, no matter what else has happened, is still the same for them, and it's just perfect.

plus I got the sense that Billy really couldn't wait to get Dom inside. He needed to be with him, right then and now.

but Billy is warm and his nose fits against Dom's neck, his hands fit on Dom's waist.
When everything else is out of whack, one thing in Dom's life still fits. I loved this.
