I enjoyed this story a lot, despite it being three people I don't usually read. I loved the way you described Viggo and Orlando through Sean's eyes, and the way he needed both of them.

Wow, thank you very much! I always get warm fuzzies when people who don't normally read my boys leave a happy comment. =) This was very much Sean's story - he wanted to take over just a bit, and it wouldn't have made sense to have him fall in "love" with people if we didn't see how he reacted to and felt about them.

Orlando is supernumerary there, this should tobe just Sean and Viggo

If you'd like to read fics with just Sean and Viggo, I recommend you spend a bit more time at rugbytackle.

Oh, this was lovely! Poignant and sad and hopeful all at once. This is a very different take on the usual NZ story, where Orlando is the antic wild-child and Viggo is the crazy, hippy-dippy Renaissance man. The progression of the relationship between the three of them, from the beginning of the shoot to the week before Sean's final departure, is fascinating. The dynamics between them are so complicated and intertwined, as though each one fulfills a separate and vital need for the other two.

I've never read your work before, and I'm so glad I've finally gotten a chance to do so. I'm definitely looking forward to reading more from you in the future. Thank you so much for this wonderful fic!

I'm glad you liked it; I did set out to give them all important roles in each others' lives and personalities not quite so cliche as the fanon suggests and it's good to find that the way I did that worked for you.
